I am writing a very brief piece about the underpinnings of the Great Exhibition for another blog, beyond the usual "gee whiz" aspects and had wondered about its financing.<br /><br />I am also intrigued by how they bought the land for phase 2. Usually prices go up as soon as sellers get a hint of the importance of their property.
